Welcome

As a student of wellness (formal and informal), I have a passion for prompting others to not settle for just "ok" but to do their research and find their best health. The purpose of this blog is to locate information and make it available to those who may not know where to look for answers. My hope is to do so with the guiding philosophy that 1. Being healthy is not a matter of doing all the "right" things. The key is discovering the most important things in life and making compromises elsewhere. 2. Life is unique in all of us and there is no one prescription that will deliver us from that which ails. 3. Never accept your current situation as irreversible. There is something for everything. And most importantly, our state of mind and condition of our spirit are the biggest factor in our health.
Also, I will make every effort not to just impart my own opinion, but refer to those who are much more qualified, but I can't make any promises. :)
Finally, it is well known that the best way to learn is by teaching. Educating others will keep me on task and will give me a sense of accountability. Not only do I have to make sure my sources are reliable, but I actually have to put those truths into practice. And who knows, maybe I can inspire others to do the same!
